CHURCH COVENANT

CHURCH COVENANT
Having believed, received and confessed Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and having been baptized biblically as a profession of faith, we therefore covenant ourselves together under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, o God and to one another as one body of Christ.

To grow mutually in the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance (Galatians 5:22-23).

To faithfully support the program and ministries of our church with our talents, gifts, tithes and offerings, attendance and prayers.

To endeavor to win our family members to Christ and to have personal and family prayer and study of God’s Word.

To maintain a positive witness of Christ in our daily life as we relate to one another inside and outside our church family.

To seek to win others to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and for these to become part our church family.

To uphold this covenant by the grace of God and in the spirit of our Church Constitution and Bylaws.

And when we move from the community we will seek to unite with another evangelical church where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and our biblical faith.
